4th Gen Ram Blower Motor Resistor (09-18) – 68048900AA

Your blower fan works on some speeds but not others — or only blows on the highest setting. On 4th Gen Ram trucks, this is the classic sign of a failed blower motor resistor. The resistor controls fan speed by regulating voltage to the blower motor. When it fails, certain speeds drop out entirely. This is the OEM Mopar replacement, direct factory spec.

Resistor vs. blower motor — how to tell:
