Your blower fan works on some speeds but not others — or only blows on the highest setting. On 2nd and 3rd Gen Ram trucks and Jeep Grand Cherokees, this is the classic sign of a failed blower motor resistor. The resistor controls fan speed by regulating voltage to the blower motor.
